We fully understand there are instances where you may need to request a return. When that request falls within the guidelines set by our Return Policy, we will work to provide you with a return approval as quickly as possible. If your return request falls outside those circumstances where a return is available, we will make every effort to see if we can make an exception However, please know that normally we must adhere to guidelines set forth in our policy. We have outlined below the most common reasons for why a return may not be available. We appreciate your understanding for these reasons and adherence to our Return Policy. Return Eligibility

Products eligible for return must be in their original condition, unused, and with the original packaging intact. You must follow our instructions for initiating a return and receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) from Porjectorquest. The buyer is responsible for the proper packaging and shipping of the item for return to ensure it is not damaged in transit. The item must be received by us within the return period.

Return Inspection

Upon receipt, all returned items are inspected and tested for serial number, total hours usage, and tampering or misuse. If the item does not pass inspection, then any warranty, refund or credit will be void. Damaged, disassembled or tampered with items are void of all warranty. If an item is returned as defective under warranty and testing indicates it works properly, additional fees may be deducted or the warranty may be voided.

Return Period

Most of our items include a return period (i.e. 30-Day or 15-Day) from the time your item is delivered. If your item is eligible for return, the return period will be displayed in the product description. During this time period, the item can be returned for any reason, as long as you follow the procedures outlined in this policy and obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) from Projectorquest. 

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for any fees associated with the return of an item, such as shipping, tariffs, insurance and packaging, unless otherwise indicated by Projectorquest. For US customers, f it is determined we shipped the wrong item or the item was damaged in transit or the item is being returned under warranty, Projectorquest normally pays for the return shipping. If the return is for any other reason or if you reside outside of the US, the customer normally pays for the return shipping.

Late Returns

If a returned item tests to work properly and is received after the return period, eligibility for a refund may be voided or you may only be eligible for a partial refund minus restocking fees, shipping costs and additional fees. If an item is returned under warranty as not working after the reurn period, and testing indicates the item works properly, then payment of restocking fees and shipping costs may be required prior to receiving your replacement or upgrade.

Warranty Replacements

All items are guaranteed to be working upon arrival to the customer. In the event the product becomes defective within its respective warranty period, the customer should contact Projectorquest immediately. After return approval, we will email you a return shipping label to print and securely place on the box the item shipped in. Once the returned item is received, we will ship you a replacement. Turnaround is dependent on current processing times and availability of that item.

Special Order Items

Special Order items are not eligible for return unless noted otherwise. This will be displayed in the description for these items. Since Special Order items are not stocked, we must order these items for fulfillment directly from the manufacturer. The manufacturer normally does not allow for the return of these items, unless it is under warranty for replacement or repair. Therefore, we highly recommend you confirm with our staff that the Special Order part number is correct prior to placing your order.

Warranty Returns

Most items we sell include a manufacturer warranty. We typically administer the warranty on behalf of the manufacturer for most of these items. If you experience any issues with a purchased item during the warranty term, please notify us. We will first attempt to troubleshoot the problem with you, but if unsuccessful, we will work with you to arrange the return of the item for a replacement or upgrade. If the issue continues with the replacement or upgrade, we normally do not provide an additional replacement, since the issue is likely not with the purchased item itself. 

Return Instructions

Once you determine you need to return an item, please contact us at support@projectorquest.com. If the item is eligible for return, we will provide a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. This is sent via email with instructions for the return of your item. Please carefully follow these instructions to ensure there are no issues processing your return. If you have any questions about the instructions provided to you, please contact us for clarification.

Damaged Returns

All returned items are inspected and tested. If a good item is returned for a refund and shows any sign of damage or does not test to work properly, then that item will not be eligible for a refund. If that returned item was damaged in transit to us, we will work with the customer if they decide to file a claim with the carrier. All returned items should be properly packaged and insured by the customer.

International Customers

International customers are responsible for all the costs associated with the return of any purchased item for any reason. Any fees, taxes or tariffs charged to Projectorquest for the return of an item for refund will be deducted from the refund amount. All of the terms outlined under our Return Policy apply to international customers with the exceptions noted here.

Return Request Procedure

The return request procedure involves the completion of the Return Request form. You are required to complete this form and provide all supporting information, including images and videos, in order to obtain a return material authorization number. You also agree in good faith that if the item is not working properly, you will work with our staff to troubleshoot the problem before returning it.

Return Request Procedure

Return Processing Timeframes

To receive approval to return an item normally takes no more than 2-3 business days. Upon approval of a return request, Projectorquest will provide return instructions by email. The timeframe for the returned item to be delivered ot us is dependent on the carrier. Once the returned item is received, the return will be processed by our Returns team in the order it was received. If the return is for a replacement item under warranty, that item will be shipped to the customer once the returned item is processed, barring any issues such as the item being out of stock or additional payment being due.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items, such as Special Order items are not returnable except under warranty for possible replacement or upgrade. Customers are advised to review the product description before making a purchase.

Return Shipping

Within the US, return shipping costs for defective or incorrectly shipped items will be covered by Projectorquest. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees for reasons other than defects or errors on our part. Customers outside the US may be responsible for any return shipping fees.

Return Disputes

Any disputes regarding returns must be promptly reported to our customer support team. Failure to report within 30 days of your transaction waives your right to dispute the transaction.

Return Disclaimer

Please note, the buyer is responsible for proper shipping of the product for replacement or refund. Items returned damaged, disassembled or tampered with voids all warranty. If the unit is physically damaged due to customer abuse or neglect or the unit otherwise does not meet the requirements of the Projectorquest return policy, appropriate replacement charges may apply. No replacement charges will be assessed for items received in accordance with our return and warranty policies, where the original packaging is in good condition and free of any markings. Items that pass inspection will be exchanged or refunded. Product replacement or exchange is subject to availability.

Projectorquest reserves the right to test all returned products, and to charge the customer up to a 35% restocking fee, as well as the cost for all additional shipping charges, for products returned as defective that have no problem found.
